First Steps with AI
Through animated stories and simple activities, young learners explore AI foundations and the history of technology, digital well-being and cyber safety, and ethics and human creativity, with safety first.
HAILM helps school students in Grades 3 to 12 understand and use artificial intelligence with confidence. Age-appropriate lessons, interactive activities and hands-on practice, available in Hindi and English, and aligned to global AI literacy standards and NEP 2020.

Students should learn about AI because it is already part of daily life - from search and social media to learning apps. AI literacy helps students use these tools safely, think critically about them, and build future-ready skills, turning them from passive users into responsible, confident creators.
Three age-appropriate journeys, each built around the things students actually do at that age - with modules carefully sequenced so every learner progresses with confidence.

Through animated stories and simple activities, young learners explore AI foundations and the history of technology, digital well-being and cyber safety, and ethics and human creativity, with safety first.

Students learn about LLMs and daily productivity, fact-checking and AI hallucinations, and digital defence against cyber threats, building strong prompting and digital-safety habits.

Students develop advanced AI skills for academics, careers, and the future workplace. They learn prompt engineering, AI agents and automation, model training fundamentals, deepfakes and digital identity, AI ethics, innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging career pathways. The programme helps students become confident creators, builders, and leaders in an AI-powered world.
