    Grades 3–5

    Imagine with AI

    YOUR CHALLENGE

Think of a real problem people face in your school, neighbourhood or family. Imagine how AI could help solve it. Pitch your idea, explain how it works, and show a simple demonstration. Connect it to Viksit Bharat.

Link your idea to one of the six aspirations of Viksit Bharat (a developed India by 2047): zero poverty, quality school education for all, affordable healthcare, skilled jobs, women in economic activities, farmers making India the food basket of the world.

For inspiration only: food wasted at school functions, grandparents forgetting medicines, pests in the school garden. These are only examples. Pick a problem you have seen yourself. Health ideas should remind, inform or organise. They should not diagnose illness or replace a doctor.

Plan your pitchGuiding questions and a 4-slide structure+
    Ask yourself:
Who faces this problem, and why does it matter?
What would the AI do, and what information would it use?
    How will you show it?
What could go wrong, and how do you keep people safe?
Your 4 slides or poster panels:

    GUIDELINE
    Time
5 minutes in total, including judges’ questions. Aim for about 3 minutes of pitching.

    AI tools
A teacher or parent should choose and operate any AI tool, because many AI tools have a minimum user age.
    Keep it simple
Explain your idea in your own words.
    Safety
Name one risk and how your idea keeps people safe. Use made-up names. Don’t show classmates’ photos or personal details.

    RULES AND EVENT DAY

    Everything you need to know

Rules for everyoneOriginality, disclosure, data and ownership+
One entry each. You can be part of one entry only, in the grade you are in on the event date.
Make it your own work. You can use AI tools, tutorials and templates, but you must be able to explain everything.
Tell the judges what you used. Name any AI tools, code, templates, images, music, videos, datasets or APIs that you did not make yourself.
Don’t copy. Never present someone else’s work as your own, and only use material you have permission to use.
Keep people’s data safe. Use made-up or anonymised data. Never put classmates’, teachers’ or neighbours’ personal details into AI tools.
AI is not the final word. Your project should never make important decisions about real people based on what an AI says.
Your work stays yours. By entering, you allow the organisers to show your entry for event and educational purposes, with your consent and your name credited.
Consent, conduct and safetyConsent form, code of conduct and venue safety+
Get consent. Participants under 18 need parent or guardian consent for taking part, emergency contact and any support needs.
Be respectful. Bullying, harassment, unkind language or unsafe behaviour may lead to removal from the event. Respect other participants’ devices and work.
Use AI kindly. Don’t make anything harmful, fake, hateful or that invades someone’s privacy.
Ask before you click. Don’t photograph or record other participants or their work without permission.
Stay safe at the venue. Follow instructions from organisers and volunteers, stay in your assigned area, and leave only through the check-out process with your school’s accompanying adult.
